Garden visits

National Gardens Scheme

Bere Mill is open to the public four days a year as part of the National Gardens Scheme.
In 2017 these will be:
  • Sunday 26 March
  • Sunday 10 June
  • Sunday 11 June
  • Sunday 17 September
Time: 13.30 – 5.00pm
Admission: £5.00, children under 16 are free
Home-made teas and plant stalls available.

All proceeds from the openings go to the National Gardens Scheme who support a range of medical charities. In 2015 NGS received £6,025 from our garden openings.

Group Visits

We welcome private garden visits for groups.

Private visits should be arranged with Rupert Nabarro or Jill Wright.

Entry price is £10 per person for not for profit groups (i.e. garden societies) and £15 per person for privately organised groups and tours. Subject to a minimum charge of £150.

The price will include a talk about the garden.

Tea and cakes are available for an additional charge of £2 per person.

All proceeds go the National Gardens Scheme.
